Something that Works! *by S***S on June 14, 2022* I ordered this because I am a 24/7 supplemental O2 user, using a 50’ hose at home. I tried hanging the cannula from in back to alleviate pressure on my ears & chest, but didn’t work very well. I was going to have a left side Parotidectomy (incision from top of ear to down side of face & down neck) for removal of a Warthin tumor and knew I could not tolerate the cannula on my ear or along incision. Headband arrived when my sister-in-law was here & we both inspected it & were suitably impressed with how well it is made, the silicone looks as though it will remain in place and the stitching is neat and sturdy. I ended up with an abscess (sepsis & cellulitis) in the Warthin tumor & spent 10 days in hospital with a HUGE bulge (looked like an Alien Lifeform trying to emerge) until surgical removal. The whole time my Headband kept the oxygen tubing and cannula away from my Bulge & then Wounded area. It is comfortable to wear, does not stretch out and only need to have the Velcro holders move forward or back, as needed. As soon as I got home I ordered a second headband to use while the first one was washed and drying. Then, as I had two, I put one on my POC (portable oxygen concentrator) instead of moving a headband back and forth. Now I have ordered a third, again, so that I have one to use as another is washed and drying. These headbands are very comfortable, easy to use and keep my cannulas completely off my ears and my healing incision area. Well worth the minimal cost for the excellent comfort. ### ⭐ Will not stay in place *by J***N on February 29, 2024* My elderly dad has long hair, and this thing continually slid off his head, even though we tried several configurations. Total waste of money…. ### ⭐⭐⭐ If your ears are hurting *by K***R on March 8, 2024* It was a nice option to reposition the oxygen away from the ears. Although my mother didn’t feel comfortable wearing it, it did relieve the ears for a short amount of time.
