They seem like they could work very well, but there doesn't seem to be anything on the back side of my gutter that will keep the guard from just sliding down that back. It works fine where there are the gutter supports (it CAN'T slide down in those areas), but anywhere in between has been a problem. And in areas I have gotten them to install correctly between the supports, they're a tight enough fit that wherever they overlap, the upper guard will push down on the lower one, causing it to slide down the back.12/12/17: I'm downgrading this by a star. I've found that if any significant amount of water is coming down the roof, much of it will slide right over this guard and drip off the front of the gutter - with absolutely no debris blocking any flow. I have gotten most of it installed with the elevated curve in the middle as shown in the ad photos, but that only causes some of the water to drip down the back side of the gutter as well as the front. I do have the finest mesh, and that might be why it's doing this - you can see how the surface tension of the water ends up spanning all the openings in the areas of the dripping - but I read that you need the finest mesh to keep out pine needles. The dirt below these areas is becoming eroded enough that I'm seriously considering removing these guards. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HURRICANE IRMA PROOF Recommended 100% *by P***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2017* Installation was relatively easy. Make sure you wear gloves and that your gutters are clean, straight, and firmly attached to your roof. I added zip ties to secure them better where they connect. (That last step wasn't necessary but I thought it would be a good idea. Fold your zip tie in a "U" shape so you can feed them through and up the mesh.) They stood the test of HURRICANE IRMA in Florida. I was impressed because NONE of them flew off and they stayed perfectly in place under 100+ MPH winds. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great fit for my 5" gutters *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2017* The small hole 5" Ultra Flo Leaf Guard Gutter Screen is a great fit on my gutters.I was able to install them by myself and other than constantly climbing up and down the ladder it wasn't difficult.There is an overlap area on the right of each piece so there are no gaps in coverage.As I went along I didn't close the overlap completely when pressing each piece into place. I waited until the entire guard was snapped in and then VERY LIGHTLY tapped the ends with a small hammer (to avoid bending them).
