This is a more subtle lemon scent that at worst smells a bit like Lemon Pledge (which is too bad if you ask me!). This product makes it so easy to clean your makeup brushes every day and keep them sanitary. It also dries really fast due to the alcohol content. I just keep some of it in a small spray bottle, saturate each brush I used that day, and wipe off on a clean towel or tissue. I have some nice natural and artificial fiber brushes and it works well on both. I find cleaning them this way also keeps the natural hair brushes keep their shape. I know pros will say the alcohol can damage the fibers but I’ve been using this daily on some of my nice brushes for over 5 years with no issues so I think it’s a valid alternative.
