I have ongoing health problems affecting my breathing (severe allergies to like, everything) so I can’t tell you how effectively it works, but it still runs without a problem! It’s quiet on the lowest setting, the highest setting is a bit loud but good for when you REALLY wanna clean that air fast. It’s easy to use. It doesn’t seem to help much with smells, but I’ve got a cat and her litter box in my room, and it’s on the lowest setting 99% of the time, so it could just be how I’m using it. I do like how lightweight it is, and it’s compact, so it pretty much fits wherever I put it. My two biggest complaints are: 1. The air quality meter is nonsense. It jumps constantly from 12, to 18, to 6, to 19, etc. there’s no way it’s accurate or working. 2. As a broke college student, the replacement filters hurt my wallet. I can only buy them 2 at a time which is what makes it tougher. I have to have an extra $20 for it. I don’t like the lack of options. I’ve actually not been able to replace my filter since I got it, which is another reason why I can’t tell you how effectively it’s working. Overall, you get what you pay for.
