The pros: much colder water, faster water flow, and cheaper filters. Our refrigerator filters are $50+ so these are much cheaper. It's slim and tall, but not too tall to fit in the middle or bottom shelf of my fridge. I used to have a water filter that screwed onto the sink tap, but this took up too much space from our relatively shallow sink basin, so we switched to this. It was a great decision. This water filter does not actually have a filter change indicator light, but it comes with a sticker to indicate the next time it should be changed. The taste and clarity of the water is perfect and I am picky about water.
