I put this in a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. The stuff has a strong smell, wear a mask or use it outside. Wear non latex gloves. Don't mix anything into the dip, it’s ready to go right out of the jug. Just dip your silver pieces right in. Dip for about 20 seconds or so, then wash with soap and water rinse VERY VERY well! Make sure your silver is dry, buff with a cloth then evaluate if you need to dip your piece again. We had a lot of pieces that had quite a bit of tarnish that needed to be dipped twice, but I was very impressed with how quickly the dip works. Even some pieces that looked black, and I was convinced I’d be buffing for a hour were silver again in 15-20 seconds. I was shocked. Don’t over do it. You have to Pay attention with this stuff, it is potent and does the job. Hear me. This is NOT a set it in and come back to it later after your show is over kind of dip, you need to sit and watch it. This is a great product, but it will take the finish off of something that’s been left in it too long.
