## Description

Delphi ignition modules feature distributor-based DIS and late-model cassette configurations for broad coverage. Delphi modules control the primary ignition circuit to fire the coil using input from sensors that determine engine rotation and speed. The result is accurate repeatable timing for optimal exhaust emissions fuel economy and performance.

Review: Fixed Isue Truck death after warm up. - Fixed death after warmup issue. Evidently Big Box brand had poor QC or poorly built. If your Truck Starts and Runs then mysteriously shuts off and then restarts after letting it cool back down look at this! (If you replace ICM replace Coil too). I was all over a Fuel issue but NO! Replaced Fuel Reg, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Spider Injectiors,Distributor ....checked pressure etc. ( Needed New Injectors anyhow so no big deal on that.) Stick with AC Delco or Delphi brand on this part......fair warning ;-) Interesting note is that during the Winter when I replaced with Big Box brand no problem...wasn't until Intense Southern Heat caused this Issue to manifest itself.....go figure.So far so good. This part on desertcart is lower priced than the Big Box Brand. I got a refund from Big Box.

**Q: Could this part cause the Engine to stall when you come to a stop**
A: hello. what is the vehicle make and model. also are there any other symptoms. are there any check engine codes coming on? if so what are the codes. 
   i have seen these ignition control modules cause a few problems. hard starts. rough idle. motor can quit running after this part gets warm. after it cools off it will start again.

**Q: Is this oem quality, compared to the acdelco d579 professional. which is better quality replacement?**
A: I believe it is as good or possibly better than the OEM part...Both AC Delco and Delphi are listed in many parts sources for GM parts.

**Q: Does this part fit a 1999 chevy s10 2.2**
A: No, you would need one that is for a 1999 chevy S10 2.2 it appears Amazon doesn't carry the one fore yours, I would try RockAuto.

**Q: Does it come with new mounting screws**
A: Mine did but I wouldn't toss any old hardware....make sure you put on the conductive paste that should come with. The threads were generic so BigBox
should have hardware in case they don't come with.

Fixed death after warmup issue. Evidently Big Box brand had poor QC or poorly built. Corre genial en Mi Camaro z28 1996 5.7 el encendido es fuerte y se mantiene perfecto, si pueden compren en conjunto Modulo de Encendido y Bobina de Ignición, es lo mejor que le puede pasar a tu auto.
