We don’t need anything heavy duty. Or really using it for is dryer vents and you don’t want a super powerful drill for it because that can actually potentially damage the vents. The battery life is pretty good. Overall, I think that it’s always good to have an extra battery that’s always charging so that you can always switch back-and-forth. By the time you’re one battery is dead, and the other battery should be charged. I like that it has the hammer options on the drill as well. While it isn’t the strongest one. You can still use it to go through masonry. There are many differences in Brushed drill Vs. Brushless drills such as high efficiency, low noise, no spark, high torque, and more lifetime with the brushless drills. Normally brushless drill has 25% efficiency, 50% motor runtime, and 10X motor lifetime rather than the brushed drill. I suppose it is more so your needs on what one to get. I stick with these for cordless capabilities. If I want power and high torque I’ll go with the good old corded hammer drill any day any time. Usually you need around 1200 in-lbs (or around 100 ft-lb) to remove lug nuts properly so that you don’t get sheared or worse broken studs. The P215 has only 500 in-lbs of torque. Great question! **Q: Does Ryobi products hold their charge even when not used for a while, or does the batteries have to constantly be charging?** A: I have not had any problems with my batteries continuously needing charged and I have a lot of batteries.
