Obviously, for the price, I wouldn't expect as nice of a case as ones that cost several times as much. I needed to replace my old one and didn't want to spend a lot of money at the time. I will probably upgrade to a good case in the foreseeable future, but for right now, it will do. It has room for my shoulder rest as well as rosin, a tuning fork etc. My main point of criticism is that I think the violin has to much space to move around inside the case, which is not very safe. I used some spare dish towels to pad it a bit more around the edges and keep it in place. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight, beautiful, and practical *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2017* This case is lightweight, as others have said, and it's really nice looking inside and out. There's plenty of room for an Everest shoulder rest if you place the legs on either side of the violin scroll. My daughter is proud to wear the violin case on her back, and the straps also detach and can be attached as a regular shoulder strap as well. My one quibble is that the interior isn't quite as blue as it looks in the picture. It's darker than that.
