Every detail is incredibly executed in this superb watch winder. The cabinet is finished like a Steinway Concert Grand, that only seeing and touching will do it justice. The doors, hinges, compartments and lighting are high quality and flawless. Functionally it is sound in every way; quiet, smooth and easy to use.I wasn't aware until a friend, who is a true wrist watch aficionado, told me that all watches have their recommended 'turns per day' and turn direction recommendations when using a watch winder. After a little research I found that my Panerai is best if when turns per day (TPD) are 800 and turn direction is to the right, while my Rolex Oyster Perpetual should be 650 TPD with either direction or both (I'm told, if in doubt, 650 TPD to the right should not get you in trouble). This winder has the ability to easily set each watch bay separately with it's electronic controls that are a part of the top compartment.
