You would just have to prime it and paint over it. But if you used anything that was really thick, you still might see the pattern through the paint that you put over it. I am wanting to use this roller on a ceiling with an extension pole.** A: This is the way the end of the handle on the roller is I don't know if there's a type of extension that would fit in there. What I did was added a little paint to the texture so it wouldn’t be white. I haven’t painted the wall yet so the pictures above are raw texture. Keep a clean water bucket handy to clean the roller of built up texture which will keep the pattern from appearing. I also rolled the texture on with a regular paint roller because too much texture on the wall and the pattern wouldn’t show. Also, don’t let it dry on you!
