It worked on the first try, and now I have a handy little demonstrator of voltage drops across various resistors. By the way, the tiny surface-mount resistors come pre-installed. You don’t have to do that on this project – just the DIP switches, LEDs, and USB-C connector, plus installing the four standoffs that act as feet. I’m going to use the finished product to gain proficiency with my multimeter, too. There are eight different resistors, each with their value listed right on the board, so you can check reading the ohms across those, and check the voltage drop across each one. Bonus! For those of us who finished school before STEM was a thing, this is a lot of learning experience in a small package, and for a very low price.
