I took the chance and it worked flawlessly, zero issues. I even used it on a heavy duty impact gun and it spun the large nut off without any problems what so ever. I checked the inside of the socket and it just wore off a little of the black anodizing and that's it. I would highly recommend this product, great value and good quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality socket tool *by V***F on August 28, 2024* The socket is of high quality. Due to the shallow design of the axle nut, it is difficult to use any socket like this with a breaker bar to remove a highly torqued axle nut. With the nut being so shallow, it is easy to get the socket (any socket really) cocked resulting in damage to the socket. My second attempt with an impact wrench was successful. It is good that this socket is aluminum since I would rather damage it than the axle nut. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Shiny *by A***Y on April 23, 2022* The material is a little soft for breaking stubborn axle nuts loose. But this seems to be more for someone who is taking their wheels off more often than I might. In that instance, I think this would work great. It is made of aluminum (I believe), so not as tough as your usual socket. Also, you'll need at least a 1" extension to use both sides effectively.
