I ordered it so the center stone is my mom's birthstone (Aquamarine - March), and the stones on either side are mine and my brother's birthstones respectively (August - Peridot and June - Alexandrite). SHE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER AND NEVER TAKES THIS RING OFF!!! Mom is an RN and loves the fact this rind doesn't sit up too high, can withstand all the hand washing and hand sanitizer usage, and still looks amazing a the end of the day (she even wears it in the shower and at the beach). Whenever the stones start to look cloudy or, "dirty," she takes a super soft toothbrush and gently scrubs the underside of the stones with a little warm water and they look as sparkly as the day the ring arrived.
