Review: Rain Bird OEM Product as Described - This is exactly as described - OEM product. It's the part to connect either end of the swing pipe to the 1/2 inch riser or 1/2 inch sprinkler. Make sure you get the right one - these are male. They screw on to the Swing Pipe with a bit of effort, but make a tight fit. Only works for Swing Pipe, not for other kinds of tubing.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you need Teflon tape?**
A: Teflon tape is for metal pipe to prevent it from rusting together. It won't hurt anything to use it on other threads but it won't do anything. Teflon tape is a lubricant not a sealant.

**Q: Will this work on tubing that is .600 ID?**
A: I used it with 1/2” pex tubing only. Not sure if that helps you or not

**Q: are they rated for potable water?**
A: Are use mine for pumping out of a river for the lawn I’m sure you can use portable water as well not sure if that answers your question or not it’s all plastic and very sturdy.

**Q: How do I remove a broken valve from the tubing?**
A: You need to cut the tubing.  If cutting the tubing means that it is now too short, you must get a coupling and more tubing.
