Review: Does its rated job well, and very easy to install. - I brought this as a temporary cooler to use, to test out my 13700k, and it ended up being capable of cooling way above its expected level of cooling, although I wouldnt use one of these long term to cool a 13700k. It does get noisy which is expected due to needing to make up for lack of cooling heatsink with faster moving air. Should be fine for low end CPU's or as a stop gap for more powerful CPUs, but set a lower power limit when using this, I suggest 125w.

I brought this as a temporary cooler to use, to test out my 13700k, and it ended up being capable of cooling way above its expected level of cooling, although I wouldnt use one of these long term to cool a 13700k. It does get noisy which is expected due to needing to make up for lack of cooling heatsink with faster moving air. Should be fine for low end CPU's or as a stop gap for more powerful CPUs, but set a lower power limit when using this, I suggest 125w.

The ARCTIC Alpine 17 CO does a solid job of keeping my Intel CPU cool, even under heavy workloads. It runs quietly and efficiently, making it a great budget-friendly cooling solution. However, the mounting process was more difficult than expected—it took some time and patience to get it properly installed. Once in place, though, it performs very well. If you don’t mind a bit of a challenge during installation, this is a great cooler for the price!
