It will also sit up pretty well and in that position the head is probably about 12" high. **Q: Did they use real Aussie dog fur to make this toy?** A: No real fur of any kind is used. **Q: how tall is it??** A: 15.8 x 11.8 height x 7.9 inches **Q: can it stand on its own?? Can you position it?** A: When it was new you could make it stand, sit or lay down.
