The dimming function works with dimmable LED's. I tested it with a Edison style fully dimmable LED bulb. The glow in the dark buttons are a good idea, but the only button that glows well is the fan off button. It worked great up until 6 months. One day the fan was working, the next day I tried turning it on and it wouldn't turn on. I changed the batteries in the hand held remote, but still wouldn't turn fan on. I removed the transmitter from the fan and the fan worked perfect, so it was the remote control that was not working properly. Contacted the seller asking if they could send me a new one and I would be glad to send them my broken one, they responded with a lousy explanation about numbers (well the #'s on the transmitter & remote matched so that was NOT the issue). But then I could NOT get a response from them after that. So now I have to purchase another one, which I don't feel is right.
