I tried putting in a different dvd that I successfully watched and I get both disc err or wrong region. Ive had this player for a few weeks now and no issues. **Q: Is there an included HMDI cable in the box with the dvd player?** A: No. And I wouldn't recommend the DVD player either.. it didn't last long at all **Q: Does it have the continuous play function?** A: Do NOT buy this worthless piece of JUNK...Buy any other similar product and you will be much better off. **Q: Does it record?** A: You’d be lucky if it played. Anything. The company is selling this with a KNOWN DEFECT that isn’t repairable. It happens soon after the 6th month of use, which is past the time for a replacement or refund.
