Review: Minor bump in the road - The unit shipped with an mini AV to HDTV converter. Tried on two TVs and would not work. I purchased a RASFOX AV to HDNI converter and the VHS/DVD player worked on both TVs. The RASFOX is sold on desertcart and is good quality and works.

A: No

**Q: What year is this item?**
A: The one I just received has a Mfgr date of 2013.  The advertised model is silver, the one I received is the same model, but came in black, which actually goes better with my cable set top box and my T.V.

**Q: Does output have HDMI or RCA connectors?**
A: No !!

**Q: Can record a movie form vhs to dvd**
A: No. Only will record on a VHS.

Worked initially. Didn't use it for 8 months now nothing works. Turn it on it turns off by itself. When on, the CD drawer won't open. When on, the vcr will only play audio no video.
