My waste is 35"/36". I ordered a medium belt even though they recommend ordering one one size larger than your waste measurement. My belt is 43" from fold to tip. (Seems long? Maybe it isn't a medium? You can never be sure about those things.) Anyway, I buckle the belt at the second or third hole. It's the perfect size for me. I needed a black belt that could take a belt buckle in a hurry so I took a chance of this one and it paid off! It appears to be real full grain leather that is thick and evenly dyed with no imperfections. It’s a simple belt in that the edges aren’t burnished so there’s some “fray” that can be a feature if you’re into that, nor is the folded edge skived (sp?) so it’s quite thick there. Both those can be remedied but to have a completed belt cheaper than I can buy the leather blanks is amazing. Giant MADE IN CHINA printing on the back is a reminder of the origin, but for those looking to stretch their dollar, it’s a great buy.I wear 34 pants for some room on a 32 waist and ordered a large based on reviews.
