I feel like Goldlocks. The first set was Lucero Edison Bulb ST64 60W Dimmable - Vintage Squirrel Cage Design - Clear Glass Old Fashioned Light Bulbs with Antique Thomas Edison Style Filament for Retro Pendant Lighting - 3 Pack. They were far too dim. They were dimmable, but honestly, you couldn't get much darker. Might be good for a dining room but not for the kitchen where you actually need to see what you are doing. Plus, one stopped working after just a couple months. Next I tried Edison bulb – BWL 6.5W Edison Light Bulbs, 60W Replacement, 2700K Warm White Light, 800 Lumens, ST64 Antique Shape with E26 Base, ETL Listed, 1 Pack. This was so bright through a clear glass shade that I was still seeing spots a half hour after glancing at it. Enter these Rolay bulbs. Just right! Bright enough over my island, but not so bright that they are painful to look at. Look great in my vintage fixtures.
