I've just ordered the 4100 on Amazon. I don't have the serial number yet, because the product doesn't arrive until tomorrow, but SonicCare customer service just told me that they would send the free plug adapter once I provide the model number and serial number to them. They confirmed there is no charnge. It will take 7-10 days to receive the plug adapter once I am able to provide them with the serial number. Been using the 4100 for about 6 months and no regrets. I previously had the Diamondclean model which finally died after a few years of use so I needed a replacement. I didn’t need the 5 setting options or the WiFi connectivity of Diamondclean so I decided to try the 4100 model. The 4100 has two settings - I still only use one. It’s also lighter, uses the same brush heads, and has a smaller and lighter charger that should travel well. It feels the same when I’m brushing and the best part is that if it dies, I could buy about four of them for the same price as one Diamondclean.
