It’s small in length, but bright enough to illuminate the area I need when using my lathe. It was a breeze to install, just two screws and wire on a cord with a 110v plug and you have a fully functioning light. I haven’t noticed any heat to be concerned about, just a nice amount of light. For the money and simplicity of install, I don’t see how I could get any more for the money, it’s a bargain. The fixture feels like a quality light should feel, it’s solid in construction and sleek in design.
