They are thick, come with screws and work as intended. These included screws are not for mounting to whatever you are intending to attach these rails to - they are for securing whatever equipment you attach to the rails once the rails are installed. The included screws aren't even pointed - how would anyone think that these are what they are supposed to use to install the rail into a piece of wood or something? Anyway, these are great - great value for the money and you will need some mounting screws.
