Once the Boron Nitride Paste has been heated to 100 °C, the water evaporates and all that is left is the paste. Usually, computer components do not reach this high of a temperature, so the water inside the initial mixture will not evaporate. **Q: Is this more of an 'adhesive' by chance? i'm looking for a tidier way to keep water cooling blocks on my nema-17 steppers in 80c air, and love bn .** A: Once the Boron Nitride Paste is dried, it is hardened which makes it act as a weak adhesive. It would probably not be the best idea to use it to keep water cooling blocks attached to a stepper motor. **Q: Can this be used as cpu thermal paste? if not, why not?** A: It is not recommended to use our Boron Nitride Paste as CPU thermal paste as our Boron Nitride Paste contains water. A proper thermal grease would be a better option for this use case. **Q: I need a thermal paste to connect a thermostat cutoff switch to the outside of an oil heating (500 deg F) popcorn kettle. Will this work?** A: Slice Engineering Boron Nitride Paste is a thermal paste for improving conduction.
