## Questions & Answers

**Q: I need to reinforce a spot on my cast.  Would I just wet this tape and apply it directly over the current cast?**
A: Yes, just submerge the tape and wrap it around the old cast. I’ve found two to three layers work the best

**Q: the directions say put it in water but when we did it harden up why?**
A: I bought this thinking I was getting a soft cast, but same thing happened to me.  This is a HARD cast.  You put it in water and it hardens very quickly.  I put it on my foot not knowing and then had a horrible time getting it off and couldn't walk in it.  This is something a doctor should put on someone.

**Q: How do you remove the cast?**
A: We used this for our Christmas elf when our son broke his elbow this past year. It just popped off the stuffed animal. Sorry, I know this probably does not help. It does get hard and is a true cast. Try googling other removal methods. Perhaps soaking or tin snips?

This product worked exactly as described. The people complaining it was too hard, too fast bought the wrong product. It is advertised by the manufacturer to make a walk-ready cast in 20 minutes which was exactly what I needed. Plaster casts need to cure for 48 hours. So I would give it five stars but out if two rolls one was already rock hard and unusable. Buy extra and check the package for "squishiness" before relying on this!! Unfortunately we had already removed the previous splints in preparation and were left scrambling when the second roll was unusable.
