**Q: Will the adhesive stick to a painted wall?**
A: As long as the wall is not freshly painted.

**Q: Can I use for outside wall?**
A: This product is for fabric not intended for outside use.

**Q: can i use one side for metal and the other on fabric?  I want to use it to attach a bedskirt to a metal bed platform.**
A: I am not 100% sure but it will stick to metal.  But it's designed to be used with textile. It will probably not have as good adhesion with metal. Try it and find out if it's strong enough.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The velcro is fine, the adhesive is not doing what I wanted

So I may well be using this far outside the intended design and if that's the case that's on me. But this is labelled as being no sew with adhesive for fabric, and that's what I bought it for. I needed a way to keep my mattress topper from sliding all around my adjustable bed. This worked great for like...a month? And then the adhesive just sort of balled up. The hook is still sticking to the pile like Velcro should, but the adhesive didn't hold up. And no, I was not being particularly rambunctious on my bed. ;)
