A: IF you mean a padded so no shin rubbing? YES!! Been wearing same boot for over 40 years!! Last pair made 5 years beating concrete floors every day, construction, and dance halls as well!! Oil REGURALLY, and take care of!!! BEST EVER MADE!!

A: Hello. My son is a heavy equipment operator and has worn this brand of boots for years. I believe they have steel reinforced up by your toes but I would check with the company. Hope this helps

**Q: how much thinsulate do these boots have?**
A: It doesn't say in the item description  nor does it say anywhere on the packaging or boot itself. All I've seen was ultra thinsulate. Either way I would buy these again in the future.
