- Method 1: Like to eat crisp, hard kelp, put directly soak in cold water for about 4 hours Method 2: (Recommendation) Don't wash the dried kelp. Steam the pot directly for 20-30 minutes on internal fire, then put aside and dry completely. Then soak in the cold clear water for 3 to 4 hours, wash and slice. It can be used directly for cold kelp salad, stir-frying and stewing.
