I’m new to BJJ (6 months in) and was wearing a FUJI A3. I’m a 5’5” 220lb woman with thick thighs and rear. My A3 was too big in the waist but too tight on the butt and upper legs. I got a W3 and a W4 and ended up keeping the W4. I need to hem the pants but I have full mobility now, I can triangle and lunge as needed without my pants stopping me, and I look good doing it. I think women’s GI is a good investment for anyone who needs to squat without ripping their pants seat.
