I currently use this as my home internet with T-Mobile. I have the T-Mobile ONE Plus International Plan for a Tablet which does allow unlimited data, but I do have a monthly cap of 50GB so when I go over that, I do get reduced to a slower speed. It is usable when that happens, but does make streaming and things harder. Otherwise it works great. **Q: Is this device "unlocked" for use on other compatible networks?** A: I use this exact modem for rural customers for internet service and AT&T works fine on this modem using a business plan and they have 8MB, 12MB, and 50MB speeds with Data caps at 50GB, 75GB, and 125GB before slowing down to 3G which is still good speed for usage. Verizon however does not work but accepts the SIM card and acts like it does just cannot browse. Verizon will tell you the service is not supported on this device. **Q: Confusion: How to use Wan port? I could understand wan port on router, but in modem.... What dose that means? What kind of advantage would it make?** A: Wide Area Network (WAN) also known as the Internet, connected with addresses that are publicly accessible. Local Area Network (LAN) are a private group of computers and devices that are not publicly accessible. Class C Private IP range 192.168.0.0 : Class B 172.16.0.0 : Class A 10.0.0.0. The WAN port on the router is Internet in and the switch ports and built in access point distribute it to client or end point devices. **Q: what size Sim card does this device uses?** A: It's a micro-sim. But you can easily place a nano sim into the slot, just line it up on the side opposite of the notch, then latch the cover. There should be plenty of tension to keep it in place between the pins and the latch. Mine is working just fine this way until I can get an adapter. ## Frequently Bought Together - NETGEAR 4G LTE Broadband Modem - Use LTE as Primary Internet Connection (LB1120) - iSYFIX Sim Card Adapter Nano Micro - Standard 4 in 1 Converter Kit with Steel Tray Eject Pin - Bingfu 4G LTE Antenna Mini Soft Whip TS9 (2-Pack) Compatible with Verizon AT&T T-Mobile Sprint 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi Router Cellular Broadband Modem USB Modem Dongle Adapter --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/39879374-netgear-4g-lte-broadband-modem-use-lte-as-primary-internet](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/39879374-netgear-4g-lte-broadband-modem-use-lte-as-primary-internet) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
