I cannot wear the splint the hospital gave me because it is impossible to wear it with shoes. I was drawn to this product because it looked like it would be lightweight and I could wear both sneakers and flats with it and it turns out that it worked for both types of shoes. I have been wearing the lycra sleeve with compression straps and it has been giving me the support I need while the sprain heals. I am sure wearing both together would give great support, I just don't need to wear both right now. I did try on the brace and both the brace and the sleeve fit perfectly. I plan on buying another set for my other ankle so I have support for both ankles while I workout.
