Plastic handled are too light weight and the bristles severely lacking. The wooden ones with detachable brush heads get to the point rather quickly where the brush head will not stay on the handle. I saw this " Extra Long Handle - Double Sided Bamboo Dry Body Bath Brush - All Natural Boar Bristles + FREE Hanging Hook" at a very competitive price and decided to give it a try. After about a weeks use all I can say is this is the very best bath brush I've ever had. The length is just right. The soft/firm bristles are perfect. This thing is sturdy, has some weight to it, Body Scrubber with Extra Long Handle - Double Sided Bamboo Dry Body Bath Brush - All Natural Boar Bristles + FREE Hanging Hook! and should last a long time. The added suction type hanging hook is very convenient and has held securely mounted to our slightly textured shower tiles with no problems. The only con (and it's a minor one) is that the beautifully finished wooden handle gets slippery in wet, soapy hands. I would like to have seen some checkering, ribs, or other texturing to give it a more secure grip.
