I was looking for a very non-traditional rug and this fit the bill. I also purchased a 5/8" felt pad to soften it up on my marble floors and it makes it feel lovely for a short pile. There is no shedding and it vacuums beautifully. I wish it came in a larger size as it's just not quite large enough for my living room so it's in our study.
