It can output the power they claim. However they are not being honest on the duty cycle. The data says that it can deliver the rated power continuously. It can't. I bought it to power a battery powered gokart and it worked well for 10 minutes until it was smoking hot. So my answer is maybe. If it has the power you need to operate the lathe then it will work. If however you need it to put out that amount of power for a long period of time then you will run into problems. **Q: I am looking for a replacement motor for my cnc plasma table. the label reads dt d22-376h-48v e5-500 fl23 rev b, do you have a motor as such?** A: You table more likely has what is called a step motor. Recently asked if this can be used with a rheostat ... short answer, I don’t know, but I wouldn’t recommend, and that’s not how I used it for my Unimat Lathe. As with any motor, a Pulse-Width-Modulation speed controller gives full-torque performance at slow speeds. Used with the AmpFlow S-400-24 400W, 17A, 24V DC Power Supply and RioRand 12V-40V 10A PWM DC Motor Speed Controller. Gives great torque through all speed ranges, continuous variable control from stall to maximum speed. 16 July 2024 - was asked where to get a mount for this motor … I don’t know of any commercial sources, because I made my own.
