Ours hangs from hooks that are underneath the front porch beam. **Q: Why are there 8 rods when the instructions show only six in the instructions?** A: I am guessing the amount of rods would depend on the size you will be ordering. I was very happy with my order. I ordered two sizes, 1- 8' and 1- 6' shade. They were easy to assemble. Helpful advice, put them together on your living room floor first. If you have made a mistake its much easier to figure out. **Q: What is the difference between beige "hollowed out" and "beige" offering? Asked for replacement parts but they’ll only provide a full refund.. no replacement parts for the broken stuff they chose to send in the first place :( Rather then wasting my time on the return & reorder process, I found workarounds.
