This anvil is very good for a beginner blacksmith. But if you want a professional anvil it should cost in the hundreds. For this anvil don't use a sledgehammer.

This is a good piece, finish could be better. It does what it purchased for.

The face is far too soft, and the powder coating is nothing more than a nuisance. Honestly just bite the bullet and put some money into a good anvil. after about a week of light use, the face broke and another edge is already cracking.
