I used to just endure it, but the more I did the worse it got and I couldn’t just tough it out anymore. Got a freedom band, same price as 20 of the other patches, and I wear it all the time since. Ive used one for six months now. It’s sturdy, effective, and generally gentle. Sometimes the velcro can scratch me or if the dexcom peels up too much I start getting calluses where the plastic of the freedom band rubs against my skin, but it’s nothing compared to what I had to put up with before. I can even sleep in it. It’s not the most discreet design, I wish there was a white skin color option. When I dress up and my dexcom is too far gone to risk taking off the freedom band it puts a damper on the outfit.
