Un autre point positif est la consommation : malgré sa puissance lumineuse, elle ne consomme qu’environ 23 W, ce qui permet d’économiser de l’énergie par rapport aux anciennes ampoules de 200 W. L’allumage est instantané et la qualité de fabrication en verre donne une impression de produit solide. Après plusieurs utilisations, je n’ai remarqué aucun scintillement et la lumière reste stable.
