I love this box! It's so pretty and easy to access. It definitely is not wide enough to store high boots, but I put some mid-calf boots in it and a pair of shoes. It could easily be used to store pretty much anything - I'm getting at least one more, and maybe one or two of the other sizes.An added great feature is that it comes with rubber strips you can apply to the bottom of the box so that it doesn't get scratches if you place it on a hard surface or stack several of these on top of each other. The strips can be removed without damaging the box. While they have a lot of potential, the one I received had mismatched coloring on the wood. It also has mildew/mold on the inside, like another reviewer stated. Putting my leather shoes inside a moldy box doesn't sound like a great idea.I gave 3 stars because like i said, mine felt nice.
