Not only does it hold the yarn but also has inside pockets for books and needles....It has a pocket on the outside on one side that also works nicely for bigger books. It is collapsible when nothing is in it, so it can be stored easily. It is one of the better storage bag/box that I found. I looked at some of the local craft shops and they really only carry something to store yarn in....nothing to accommodate books, needles and looms.
