This depends on the Circumference of the 2 trees. The full Length of the slackline including the Ratchet is 50ft. Therefore if the distance between your 2 trees is 42ft then it leaves 8 feet. So for this to work for you the total circumference of the 2 trees combines cannot be more than 6ft. So please measure the distance around each of your trees and if the total is less than 4ft then it should be ok. The reason we leave an allowance of 2 ft is just to allow for adjustments of the slackline. so in summary: 42ft(distance between trees) + 6ft(Circumference of both trees combined)+2ft(Allowance left for slackline adjustments) = 50ft(Total Length of slackline) **Q: The ratchet will not loosen. I tightened it and needed to loosen it to take it higher. It started to loosen then quit.
