With each application hair is healthier allowing the hair to hold color longer. To maximize longevity of color, only shampoo hair as often as necessary and use color-safe shampoo and conditioner. Avoid saturation of hair in chlorine and direct exposure of hair to sunlight to the extent possible. Directions: Shampoo hair but do not condition prior to application. If pre-lightening hair, completely shampoo out bleach or toner. Do not mix the haircolor with developer. Apply directly from tube to dry hair. Saturation is key. I had to apply it twice to my bangs and let it sit for 30min each time. Truly saturating the hair is key. If you use too little, it won’t take. I used a lot knowing whenever you color hair, you need to throughly saturate the hair. I have yet to wash my hair since doing it, but I love it. I don’t think there is anything wrong with the color.
