Both sets I bought cracked with in the first minute of being the the microwave for the 1st time. They will not refund. **Q: How hot are the plates when used to microwave food? The ones I have now are almoet unbearable but the food isn't yet warm. Thank you!** A: They get pretty darn hot - I usually use a potholder to get my bowl/plate/cup out.
