I take one out, add water, drop a scoop or two in, then I'm set for a few hours. I've never had a hard chunk floating around in it. If I drop a scoop in and don't shake it up right away, it still dissolves quickly. I've even gotten the scooper wet a few times, which caused hard little chunks to form and cling to it, so I just broke them off, dropped them in, and even those dissolved in just a few minutes.
