**Q: does this require a 13 x 1.5 mm tap, same as the helicoil set up?**
A: Time-Sert uses special taps called S.T.I (screw thread insert) and Time-Sert taps are a tighter class because our inserts are solid bushing not coils. If you are trying to repair a head bolt you would need the entire kit to correctly install the Time-Sert insert.

**Q: Is this will work for 2010 Scion tC?**
A: If the thread size is M11x1.5 you will need the Time-Sert kit p/n 2200 to install these inserts.

**Q: Do these inserts comply with  either asme b18.29.2m-2005  or ags4677 series or both?**
A: I don't know, but Time-Sert steel inserts sure solve the Engineering Flaw of threading hardened-steel head-bolts into (relatively soft) Aluminum engine blocks!

**Q: What are the external threads of these? I have an older version of the kit and I'm to figure out if these will work with my existing tap**
A: 13mm x 1.5 tap works for me
