Each light contains high-powered halogen bulbs, which are replaceable with 12V/55W/H3 bulbs. Each is surrounded by a high-impact, steel housing and an optical quality amber glass lens, making it resistant to corrosion, abrasion and shock. Mount each light easily and quickly on the reduced mounting surface bracket. The package includes a complete wiring kit, switch, panel and instructions for easy installation. Review: Better than expected easy to install Review: For the price, you can't go wrong - these are nice, bright halogen lamps. The plastic housing is a little iffy, but so far they seem to be holding up OK. The switch they come with is pretty much garbage, and the short grounding wire will be useless in most cases, since light bars generally make poor grounding points. I spliced a new ground wire onto mine and ran it to chassis. I also replaced the switch with an automotive relay and a marine style rocker switch.
