I did not do the initial setup on the phones myself, my new home phone provider did, but after receiving them programmed, it was super easy to just plug in, turn on and make my calls. The sound quality is so much better than I anticipated, not only on my end but on the other end as well. Everyone says I sound crystal clear. The phone is sturdy too, I accidently dropped it from about 5 ft on to a hard tile floor and it didn't crack anywhere. I am impressed with these phones.
