Review: JUST what I NEEDED! - I was using a brake caliper wind back tool on the rear pistons, and for the life of me, I could not get the rear caliper pistons to retract all the way. I tried almost everything, including, taking out the piston and dust boot to check for any possible damage. There didn't seem to be any, but the wind back tool was still not getting the job done, as well as the bar getting bent. After giving up multiple times, I was close to calling it quits and started looking into getting new rear calipers all-together, when I decided to look into this little tool. I read the comments, and decided to follow the advice of one customer's review mentioning to bolt the caliper back onto the frame and knuckle. It.. WORKED!!!! I was so happy with this little tool, and wished I would've gone with this FIRST before trying all other methods I tried. It would've saved me SO many hours and frustration.

A: you need to see what type brakes you have.
Look up on You tube  to see how to change brakes that is how I found out that the tool is required.
Tool is universal.
If you have electronic parking brake. Look it up for sure. You need to disengage piston with a series of prompts

A: Do you have 4-wheel disc brakes? Used on vehicles with four wheel disc brakes.

A: Yes, I believe so. It would be used for the rear calipers and you have to push inward as you turn the piston.

I was using a brake caliper wind back tool on the rear pistons, and for the life of me, I could not get the rear caliper pistons to retract all the way.
